Pachner has invited 11 artist friends who either have a Guru as a teacher or have been in the presence of a Guru or practice yoga to allow the image of the Lotus Feet or the image of two feet to express their individual uniqueness and the diversity which exists within the One.



Among the oldest images in Indian civilization, the Lotus Feet has many layered and mystical meanings. The Lotus Feet can signify standing in the truth or standing in one’s own truth, standing in love or standing in the experience of journeying to truth and love.



An ancient verse says, “Salutations again and again to Shri Guru’s sandals which are a boat (with which) to cross the endless ocean of the world, which bestows a steadfast devotion, and which are a raging fire to dry the ocean of (spiritual) insensitivity.”
